  • The K2-Sling™ is a versatile, adjustable retention lanyard. Made of 8mm nylon cord with low profile, high strength sewn terminations. The secondary 6mm cord prusiks onto the main tether and attaches with a shackle. This provides an adjustable tether length with load absorbing properties.

    All components are field replaceable. Testing showed that it can stop a factor 2 fall with a 100kg load, though the peak forces were excessive. However it did significantly better than other tethers in the head to head test (1" tubular nylon with integrated bungee cord), which catastrophically failed.
