Let's Consider a Worst Case, Yet Very Possible Scenario;

You are the patrol officer, with or without a partner, urban or rural. You've stopped a vehicle or are knocking on a door. The details aren't important. With or without warning you are shot. You can't move. You are bleeding to death. You still have an active threat that you need to defend yourself against. How is that first aid class working out for you now?

It has happened before and it will happen again. Situations like this are manageable and Officer deaths are preventable with appropriate effective training, and we're here to help. "First Aid" courses are designed for controlled or controllable environments but are not realistic and actually can be dangerous if their approaches are utilized in high threat uncontrolled environments like the scenario above. You cannot 'make the scene safe' and you cannot 'drive faster to the hospital'. These are the realities of a tactical environment.

By dispelling some of the myths and assumptions of first aid dogma, and applying appropriate reactions, skills and equipment to these tactical environments, our Tactical Casualty Management - Patrol LE Course teaches Officers the essentials to provide self aid and buddy aid with respect to the larger tactical situation. This course does not teach you how to manage the drug overdose, or heart attack. It does not teach you how to provide first aid to an assault victim. It teaches you how to save your own life or the life of your partner when the violence is turned against you, you have become a casualty and you remain in the hostile environment.
