The IdeaL TCCC/Medic Pouch

Currently issued to deploying Canadian Forces Medics, this pouch is an evolution of our original design to facilitate the Pilot TCCC course in the CF in 2003. Maintaining and redesigning the original external tourniquet pouch, we increased the capacity to 3 to allow for treatment of up to three wounded extremities which is not uncommon at any one event. The external tourniquets allow access during the Care Under Fire phase without having to unzip the pouch. The glove pocket is also external for quick access.

The internal layout is our standard MARS™ for customization. Large pockets will facilitate larger items including our Accessory Insert (sold separately) which can be used to organize a surgical airway kit.

***NOTE*** This pouch is designed for a Care Provider to treat casualties out of. Though it could be used in the capacity as an individual first aid kit, it is not intended to be used as such. It is still recommended that the care provider carry, at the very least, an additional tourniquet central on their load bearing equipment for self aid.
